Lawton Community Health Center – Movie Theater Conversion

The building, originally constructed in 1994, underwent renovations to accommodate program requirements for a new medical clinic facility. The scope of work included a near‑complete interior demolition and remodel of the existing movie theater.

The project included new MEP systems, fire suppression, fire alarm systems and all new finishes. The building now features a central waiting and reception area at the main entrance, providing seating for about 60 individuals. The facility houses an urgent care clinic, pharmacy, pediatrics department, laboratory, therapy gym, speech therapy services, counseling rooms, office space, and shipping and receiving areas.

The team added structural steel and a concrete deck to the second floor to allow for future expansion of clinic services and installed an elevator to improve accessibility.
